Soon to launch is our social platform educational resource for all things sickle cell disease. Tailored information around program resources, policies, science, and prevention will be available to increase the public's awareness  of sickle cell disease in the most fundamental and simplistic terms.

Our "Talk About it Tuesday" has evolved!!!  Sickle Cell Association of Houston's Signature Support Group Series has become one of the most popular ways of engagement and interactions that individuals look forward to; both young and seasoned. These moments allow the community to come together as Warriors and Caregivers to discuss solutions to challenges, find out about latest information, treatments, and trials.  

In need of a physician, medical transportation, health fair representative, education, outreach, ect. We are here to assist the community and the general public with their needs to better understand the sickle cell community. 

The men who took the community by storm are back to share insightful, thoughtful, and uplifting discussion around their lives while living with sickle cell disease.  Look for them to come to a city near you! In the meantime, tune in to the podcast 

Since 2019, we are proud to be Texas' only Sickle Cell policy advocacy organization to ensure the best possible care for those living with this rare and complex blood disorder.  We strive to create an environment of compassion  through education for those affected, and to ensure that they are provided with the resources they need to live a full and healthy life.

We believe that knowledge is power and that's why we are bringing back our live annual Sickle Cell Symposium.  This is a great way to learn more about the disease,  how to cope with it, and latest treatments, and clinical trials. We also offer a host of additional educational workshops and an invite only Stakeholder Summit to help bring everyone together to discuss ways to raise awareness and advocate for those affected.  Devoted to creating a sense of community, while hoping for a cure, we want to help those affected by sickle cell disease and to bring awareness to the public. We do this through our annual Sickle Cell Houston Walk aimed at raising awareness and funds. Join us and make a difference.
